JANE LYALL

Occupational Therapist

Jane has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 1991 and founded Assist By Design Limited in 1997. She specialises in Vocational Rehabilitation (Workplace Assessment and Return to Work monitoring), Training for Independence, Concussion Service, Social Rehabilitation (Single Discipline assessments) and Pain Assessment and Treatment. Jane also provides manual handling education to a wide range of industries and workplaces and also workstation assessments with reporting if required.

Jane enjoys meeting a range of people and being able to make a difference in their lives.

TRACEY HAMILTON

Occupational Therapist

Tracey has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2003 and has worked for Assist By Design Limited since 2008.

Tracey specialises in Vocational Rehabilitation (Workplace Assessment and Return to work monitoring), Training for Independence and Social Rehabilitation (Housing, Single Discipline, Integrated Rehabilitation assessments).

Tracey enjoys supporting clients to recognise their strengths and gaining the skills required to return to daily living activity.

DEBRA HILBORN

Occupational Therapist

Debra has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 1996 and has worked for Assist By Design Limited since 2003.

Debra specialises in Training for Independence and Social Rehabilitation (Housing, Wheelchair & Seating, Single Discipline, Integrated Rehabilitation assessments).

Debra enjoys travelling throughout Southland and Central Otago to meet clients in their home.

Our team works with people of all ages, assisting them to carry out the activities that they need or want to do in order to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

Jenni has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2002 and has worked for Assist By Design Limited since 2011.

Jenni specialises in Training for Independence, Concussion Service and Social Rehabilitation (Housing, Single Discipline, Integrated Rehabilitation Assessment).

Jenni enjoys helping clients to achieve their goals.

LUCY CLEARWATER

Occupational Therapist

Lucy has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2006 and has worked for Assist By Design Limited since 2016.

Lucy specialises in Training for Independence, Concussion Service, Social Rehabilitation (Housing, Single Discipline assessments) and Occupational Therapy services for West Otago Health.

Lucy enjoys working alongside people to help them achieve their goals and increase their independence.

DELANEY EMMS

Occupational Therapist

Delaney has been an Occupational Therapist since 2004 and has worked for Assist By Design Limited since 2016. Delaney specialises in completing Training for Independence, and Social Rehabilitation (Wheelchair & Seating, Housing and Single Discipline assessments).

Delaney believes Occupational Therapy enables people to work towards goals which are meaningful and relevant. She enjoys the challenge of helping people to achieve their goals.

KYLEE HENRIKSEN

Occupational Therapist

Kylee has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2001 and has worked for Assist By Design Limited since 2018.

Kylee specialises in completing Training for Independence and Social Rehabilitation (Wheelchair & Seating, Housing and Single Discipline assessments) for children.

Kylee enjoys listening to people’s goals and aspirations and working with them to make these a reality. She enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research and applying this to real life situations.
